A Journey of Service & Dedication
Born on June 6, 1954 in a farmer family, Shyam Lal Sharma completed his early
education in his village and nearby town. He excelled academically, topping his
school in Kota, and graduated with honors in Electrical and Electronics from BITS
Pilani in 1976-77. An accomplished athlete, he represented his university in Kabaddi
three times and captained the team once.
